Comic Con

This was my first time attending Comic Con and I didn't know what to expect. I certainly didn't expect over 150,000 people to attend. I certainly didn't expect to see sooooo many people dressed up in costume. But I did expect to have fun (yes!) and see some famous people (oh yes!). Here's a list of some of the people I saw at Comic Con; if you're not interested skip the remainder of this post :^o

First panel of the day was to promote the movie remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" that will be released 12/12/08. More info about the movie can be found here. Attending the panel were stars Keanu Reeves (sooooo handsome in person) and Jennifer Connelly (gorgeous gal!) as well as director Scott Derrickson and producer Erwin Stoff.

The second part of the panel was to promote the movie "Max Payne" which was developed from an interactive video game. Attending the panel were stars Mark Wahlberg (sooooo handsome in person), Mila Kunis(gorgeous gal) and Ludacris (also handsome) as well as director John Moore. The panel was supposed to be over but the moderator made an annoucement.....someone had just flown in on Qantas Airlines from Australia and then.....in walked in HUGH JACKMAN. All 6500 people in the room (including me) jumped to their feet screaming and clapping and cheering! Hugh just finished filming "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in Australia. The movie is going to be released May1/09. You can read more about it here. OMG Hugh is drop dead gorgeous, I couldn't keep my eyes off him!
