Mail Goodies

I've been waiting ever so patiently (not really, LOL) for some parcels to arrive in my mailbox. So, what came in today's mail?
The first ever issue of Quilter's Connection Magazinea new magazine for Canadian quilters (click on the pic)
and also this:
A Mill House Inn Layer Cakefrom Kelly, our delightful leader of the Charming Girls' Quilt Club.My name got drawn in a post encouraging Kelly for us to do a Quilt Along as one of our future projects for our fun club. Thanks Kelly!
I'm off to try a larger sized needle on my machine in hopes that it stops my thread breakage problem so I can get my quilt all quilted and say that I met my goal for this month for both CGQC and OPAM.
Wish me luck! Until next time...

Mail goodies are always so much appreciated! I'm curious about the new magazine . . . what do you think? I'm almost ready to fill out the subscription thingy, but would like more details! Love the fabric and sure hope that you get that frustrating needle issue cleared up. Have a great week! - Marlene
