EDIT: Mum was off the ventilator for a couple of hours this afternoon but had to have it put back in again.
At this point my mum is still in the Medical ICU but is making very very slow progress and showing signs of improving. Her kidneys are not working really and that's the main problem now. Mum is also getting off the ventilator later today. I know she's anxious to talk, and probably has lots to say!
