BOM Fun

Back in September my Wednesday night quilting group decided to try a BOM.  Each month a pattern would be picked and it would be due the first Wed of the following month.  Everyone who made a block was eligible to win all the blocks.  The winner then had to present the pattern for the following month and so on.  One month a block was chosen from The Quilter's Cache
called Woven Ribbons.  The person who selected this pattern was also very specific about what colours to use and their placement.  Here's a pic of the sample block
It was easy and quick to make which I like, LOL
Think of the possibilities of what this block made into a quilt would look like and all the possible combinations of colours or scraps. Phew!   Until next time...

The block itself is an eyecatcher so a whole quilt would be a stunner.

It would make an interesting quilt. I wonder if she picked this one and the color combinations in hopes of winning the blocks LOL.

It would be interesting to see that all put together. Do you ever get to see what the members do with the blocks?

I like that block too - the possibilities would be almost endless! That would be a fun quilt to make.
